What's a serviced apartment, and why bother?

Imagine a hotel room with a kitchen, living space, a nicer bathroom and amazing views over the city. That's a Serviced Apartment!

Serviced Apartments in Manchester usually come with a balcony, and many have additional benefits, like wet rooms, en-suite bathrooms, king sized or queen sized bedrooms and - of course - all that Manchester has to offer, right on your doorstep. Accommodation in Manchester is now cheap and easy, as you can rent a serviced apartment from just £50 per night although the prices can go up to hundreds of pounds.

Staying in serviced accommodation is a lot like staying in a hotel, but there are some differences. Firstly you won't have access to a concierge or reception in a serviced apartment, and that means that it can be harder to find things out about Manchester, or have any problems solved.

There's no restaurant or bar underneath a serviced apartment like you would find in a hotel, but you can have food delivered to your accommodation via the restaurant delivery services in Manchester. You'll also find that most of the apartments that you can rent in Manchester are close to bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Q: How many people can a serviced apartment hold?
A: Each apartment is different, most hold a minimum of two (usually in a double bedroom) but our serviced apartment guide includes the number of people that can stay in each apartment.

Q: How do I pay for my apartment, is it the same as a hotel?
A: When you book an apartment with us you secure it with a credit card - if payment is taken in this way then no charge will be made until you leave the apartments. Some apartments ask for payment before you arrive - especially for long stays - but if this is the case then the apartment owner will contact you directly. Any changes to these methods will be stated within our booking pages.

Q: We're visting Manchester for a night out, can we bring guests back to our serviced apartment?
A: That's at your discretion, but please be aware that serviced apartments are usually within city centre developments, and so you may have neighbours above or below you (or all around you). Just like a hotel there are noise restrictions, so if you're planning a small gathering then that should be ok, but if you want to organise an after party for two hundred then that might not be the best idea.

A: We have around 100 serviced apartments available online, and the majority of them are in central Manchester. We do have some in Salford Quays, Castlefield and Didsbury, but the location of each apartment is shown on our bookings pages.
