i think big hands is an absolutely brilliant bar. i never liked it at first cos it seemed abit pretentious in a way but now i've realised its the complete oposite. the atmosphere found here could not be found anywhere else. its full of really friendly people, if your a girl, you hardly ever have to buy your own drinks with the nice people in here! there are some wierdo's but they are harmless and usually quite fun to talk to. there's lots of randomness here and it feels like everyone's your friend and it is just one big party. a bit overpriced but definitely worth it, as really you are paying for the atmosphere.
really nice bar staff and it is owned by a very sexy man with beautiful long hair.

After going to the loo I'd hate to see the kitchen.

I live next door to Big Hands (student accomodation) Its a really friendly, grungy little venue that plays decent music and has a menu of foreign lagers as long as your arm. Recommended for a relaxed night- although drunken dancers in there get a bit annoying.

you people are the creeps of manchester. why don't you crawl back under your corporate middle class pretentious little stone. This town had genuine homegrown venues before pathetic little wannabees like you moved in with your greedy grubbing agenda. Go to London where you belong.

one hell of a night!

i live close to big hands and will go there after a gig at the academy, its somewhere handy and does good beer, it aint pretenious and pretty chilled, never had a problem there and doubt any one would.

One hell of a jukebox, thats always been worth going for if you can stop folk playing Dylan all day that is!

it hasnt got a kitchen you arse hole! they have fresh pastries delivered and they are fresh and the sandwhiched are made fresh also..Lovley mmmmm

Great place for New Live Music! Brilliant Jukebox! Frendily Staff, Great atmosphere when busy, One hell of a place and
i would reccomend it to the thoughfull Artisitc people of earth to go and find out for your self, Thanks Big Hands its like walking into an inspirational novel.

Cool place - good beer (if expensive) great atmosphere - even for old farts and ageing hippies.

Oh my god I love it. Ambience is second to none. MY FAVE CHERRY BEER always at the ready. Beautiful boys with long hair even though I don't like boys with long hair lol

Coolest bar in Manchester - if a bar is judged to be pretentious by attracting genuine fun loving people of all ages who enjoy good beer, music & company then Big H definitely is !
