craig says...really nice place, they have some good nights there too- red deer club and golden lab...also an open mic. Good food too. They owners are friendly and a lot more deserving of your custom than the owners of solomon grundy over the road...(they are miserable and unfriendly!)
i was a regular at fuel,however for the last few months menu has gotten smaller and the food quality has become poor especially the greasy,soggy chips.i'm now a regular at solomans!it may not be entirely veggie,but at least its good quality.
Xavier says...Craig is so wrong. Solomons is the friendliest place I know. Not full of cardie wearing veggies cradling a herbal tea for three hours before splashing out on lentils ! Stay in Fuel Craig
bettie says...although solomons is very nice i personally prefer fuel. the cosy atmosphere, tasty, well priced food and the variety of live music nights make it my first choice hang out in withington by far. the prices in solomons are for me far too much!
Oz H says...Great vibe in Fuel.Band nights are excellent with some top local bands performing.Too smoky at times,but great value and imaginatively prepared food.Need to up the ante on the decor.Fab place though.
Ian M says...Although I like meat I much prefer the food and atmosphere in Fuel than solomans. Together with the chilled out nights like red deer and songs from the bathtub, and the excellant bottled ales, not too mention scrambled eggs on sundays.

Anonymous says...had to squeeze past 6 people smoking in the door vestibule to get in. Didn't have what we first ordered then took 45 minutes to serve up 2 toasties.Totally miserable service.It is a shame as I used to love Fuel-won't be going there anymore
