Label review

Label was the cooler younger brother of the Living Room - in fact it's situated right next door (the two are actually owned by different people, but appear somewhat similar).

Whereas the Living Room caters for those who prefer a sophisticated drink, Label is much more in your face with a dance floor and the necessary DJs to go with it. Designed in a sensitive fashion it's an uber chic hangout that's aimed at the 'up for it' crowd: pumpin house music, groovy disco - it all goes on down here.

Label's location at the base of Deansgate, close to Prohibition, The Cocoa Rooms and Club V, has set this area alight. It's the trendy place to come out and party, and a few more steps in either direction will take you to the Circle Club (lovely), Panacea (good, but troublesome) and a whole load of traditional pubs.

I love it here, funky music downstairs, always a little packed upstairs. Downstairs is pretty empty til 11ish but then it starts 2 get packed. Great if u want a lil pre club bar 2 get a dance on n sum good drinkin. A tad more expensive than the living room tho

I can't think of a single good thing to say about this place. The bar is overpriced, the staff are rude and incompetant and the music is shockingly awful (and not in a good way!)

Seriously go to the living room instead.

chilled, great food, relaxed, yet lively if you want it to be. People who are complaining must be rivals or jealous. Regular people not false only should go here.

Ive been coming to Label for a few years now and I love the relaxed, friendly vibe here, Yes the drinks are a tad expensive but the food is lovely and the staff are uber friendly no plastic titties in there, why go to the living room when you can go to label..

I love it here on a Friday. But sometimes they close early instead of the time on the flyers

Loved label as a starting place a few years ago.
Now just full of scallies and rough girls as is Prohibiton.
If you want class and a relaxed night out without worrying about a glass in your face go to Living Room or panecea

Went here last night for the first time.

Very packed no room and the prices where stupid and the music was appalling.

Also the majority of the people there were such wannabies it just got funny after a while.

Went into Label today .

Place was near empty . more staff there than customers and you would think they would go out their way to serve a customer but no they was more interested in standing at the coffee machine giggling to each other while blatantly ignoring the fact i was stood at the bar . (yes they did see i was there) though with the lighting in the place nearing darkness i`m suprised they see anything at all .

I left understanding why the place was so quiet . the service or lack of is appalling .

I think the staff are rude, and always very slow service. Yeah, its an OK place to go but I cant beleive all the rave comments about it when there are SOOOOOO many other nice, amazing places better than label to go to. those people clearly havent bothered to look around. Room, Restaurant bar & grill, Panacea, Harvey Nics, Room and Ithica, to name just a couple of restaurant/bars that are in same price bracket close by, but far more classy than label! And then Abode, Malmaison, Odd bar, Northern Quarter, Leroys (I think thats what its called) in Northern Quarter are all little gems of places! So dont stick to the same grubby place, venture out a bit further and find out what Manchester has to offer!
