A fantastic little boozer located next to the BBC on Oxford road. For those who like it, there's a heady mix of real ales and the bar won 'Camra 2000 Pub of the Month'. For everyone else's the drinks prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic (and cheap).
A 'snug' at the back of the bar is a great place to unwind, and the Lass O'Gowrie is a favourite with students, lecturers, bbc bods and everyone inbetween. With a nod to the present the bar has SKY and big screen action for sporting events.
