Very friendly staff (esp blond spikey haired bar guy yum!) enough space to sit without sitting on someone's lap and food service fast, I go on weekdays tho and haven't tried weekends, music funky!

great looking little bar but went on saturday and they had some idiot dj, they've got a great jukebox so why waste their time using some kid who cant mix or even play records at the right speed

I agree with the above it's a great looking bar, very unusual, but the music on saturday was a great mix, and anyway the jukebox is always too loud.

I loved Odd bar, but this seems more like the spawn of Satan to me. Maybe because it was Saturday, but it was packed, hard to get served, crowded and poorly laid out leading to massive backlogs of people trying to get past, during which your drink gets spilt and your back gets elbowed by people I can only describe as "knob-heads". Music was very good, but too loud.

the music was smashing this sat.A few knob heads in there. Most seemed to be there for the first time, so hopefully won't go back again. Bit pricey. but it was fun.

It has been my local scince Funkademia was there! Best bar in Manchester by far. My friends from the US have also said this bar is amazing. The amount of imported alcohol is amazing.

Alright during the week though a bit lacking in any real atmosphere, but don't go on a Saturday night - full of towny idiots. Drinks are unimaginative and over priced and don't whatever you do order wine, it's terrible and I have drunk some vinegar in my time! Odd deserves it's repuatation as a great bar, but it's sister is a poor relation. Get back to the trusty Northern Quarter and go to Odd, Trof and Common.

Odd and Odder both run by southerners - theres a surprise a greedy couple living off the past glory of one of them once being Dickie Bransons ex PA! Give me a break....its so samey and pricey as all the others it makes me sick, get some good old fashioned watering holes back on the agenda and send the southerners home! They wont last anyway....stop trying so hard to be original.....do we need a 6ft vase, lizards et al and to pay ?3.50 per pint for the privilege of looking at it? Rather have a Wetherspoons in that case

Nice place to visit, fun decor, food good. Drinks are a bit expensive, but then again they are par for the course compared to Kro 2 , Pure Space and the other bars it the area. Last time I was in there, most people were northerners! Maybe anonymous would like to think that maybe they were pretentious northerners! Just a thought.

"Could be quite a good venue if wasn't for the Bar Manager DEE who assaulted me in the toilets just before Christmas. All I was doing was having a pee! The then off duty assistant manager entered the cubical that I was using (which by the way have had there doors removed) and pushed me in the back. I retaliated by pushing him out of the toilet that I was using. This guy then, in an absolute abuse of his power, went to fetch the door staff who, without any communication with me, assaulted me further. I was texting a friend as I was leaving the toilet when the door burst open the bouncer then grabbed me around the throat and lifting me off the floor slammed me with all his force into the wall some 3ft behind me before strangling me so hard that he passed out. The altercation was instigated by DEE and as a reward for his complete lack of judgment has since been promoted. So, if you want to go there be sure not to loiter too long in the toilets or else the same might happen to you. By the way I have been going out in Manchester for 20 years and have never been thrown out of a pub or club in that time."

Odder is lovely good music, fun random things everywhere. Wish people would stop destroying the lovely wallpaper off in the ladies tho!

Nice mix of people, friendly and light atmosphere, but the music could be better, I had the feeling I was in a 70's Nightclub yesterday.

A pretty safe bet in an area where the pretentious/overpriced influence is starting to become a difficult thing to avoid. Staff are always friendly and drinks aren't that expensive (although there are cheaper places to drink nearby) and the individual decor gives the place a relaxed atmosphere. If it's busy it can be a bit oppressive, with cramped seating options and a small bar for service, but things could be worse - you could be in Socio Rehab.

It's ok in the daytime and the bar staff are generally good.
I went for the burger offer which was advertised outside and was told it's only on weekdays, even though it doesn't say that on the noticeboard.
The reason we don't go anymore is that it has the dirtiest toilets in Manchester and the doors are either knocked off or the locks not working.

Passed through this Sat just gone and had an absolutely brilliant night. Danced my socks off upstairs to a truly eclectic selection of music. My friends and I will be there again next weekend.

Went on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised. Great ales and the wine 7.00 a bottle can't grumble at that surely!
