Although it was nice and enough inside. One of the bar staff was so rude he got my drinks order wrong and then refused to serve me and told me to ask someone else to serve m even though he'd misheard me. Obviously never heard of the customer always being right!

Prohibition is always enjoyable, as a place to start the night or as a night out in its own right. The decor creates atmosphere and the booths are good fun (although a bit dark!). Great selection of cocktails.

i booked a booth for my birthday, when we arrived they said we were on the guest list and no booth had been booked, i took the guys name at the time of booking and asked for him at the bar, he remembered me but said there was nothing he could do and was not sorry in the least, when i said this was not good enough and asked to speak with the manager she was also rude and unhelpful- great start no free drinks/compensatory either! i saw this bar'man' be rude to others when he got their drinks order wrong. The staff are absolutely crap, why work in a bar if you hate it soo much! the music on the other hand is great, class house and dance music all night with a great dj! The only reason they get custom i am sure.

not ideal venue for a club nite out but a good starting point for all coctails r great when the bar staff get them right!

My friend booked a booth for her birthday there after been there before receiving bad service I was pleasantly surprised to have one of my best nights out ever! Music was great Bartenders flairing and ringing the bell kept you entertained at the bar everybody in the room dancing.

i loved it! had a great night and i was raving with the emmerdale girls! music was great and so was the dj!

A girlfriend of mine was with a friend asking the Bouncers what Prohibition was like as they had never been before. The Bouncer advised they didn't really do food but specialised in cocktails priced ?7 each. My girlfriend made a joke about this being expensive (good humouredly, but surprised by the cost), and the Bouncer just became abusive, saying he would not allow her in as she is ugly (which I can assure you is not the case) . Furthermore, he was then continually rude to her. How can Door Staff (who are supposedly in a position of caring for potential patrons) be so rude and think they can get away with it constantly. Does it really make people think it is going to be a classy venue when the door staff sound like scally jail birds??

I certainly wont be even looking at such a crass venue.

Rude barman - cost of wine astronomical (?7.45 for glass of Pinot Grigio early doors). Will most certainly not be going back - why would anyone want to?

Sounds to me from the reviews, that this bar feels it is doing well enough to not give a darn about customer service. I bet if enough people boycotted this place, they'd feel it in their pockets.
