we go to manchester most weekends for our girlie nights out and my sister said to go to relish so we did but were refused entry by doorstaff they said we had to be on the guestlist which i know was rubbish, they wouldnt tell us the real reason for refusal there were 8 of us and all dressed appropriately but we knew it was nothing to do with our dress, none of us will ever recommend relish to any one we know, we all felt insulted by the refusal we are aged between 30-40 all presentable good looking women if i may so say myself, we have never ever been refused entry in any bar or pub in manchester over the 12+ years we have been going, its one bar to be missed in my book.

I went with friends to Relish on Sunday 3/12/06 for the first time for a meal. What a wonderful experience we had. The courtesy of the staff and the service we received was terrific. The food was excellently presented,delicious and very good value for our cash. As we were leaving we asked our waitress to pass on our thanks to the chefs and, as it is my birthday very soon i booked there and then ! My only thought is that in recommending Relish it will become too popular and i wont be able to book in the future ! I.F.

I went to Relish after SkyBar walked straight in and luckily got up to vip as we knew the girl! i loved it such a great vibe.wkd music!wudnt mind going again.

We went to relish on sat for a private party.. the lady on the door was beyond rude, we had invites and should have been on the guest list but 'somehow' our names were not on the list..hmm..We had to call our friend to come downstairs and get us in all i can say it that girl was a bow with a capital C..
I DONT SEE WHY DOORSTAFF HAVE TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE FOR NO REASON It was purely because we were a group of young girls all aged 23 and she was a bitter so and so having to work instead of having fun! Pull the stick out ur bottoms and be nice.. its not hard..
Rant over!

Went to Relish this Sat for a night out, couldn't get up to the VIP lounge until after 2am, but the atmosphere was great everywhere, stayed till kicked out at 4am Great music and people all night

went to relish saturday night 03.11.07 and what a great night! music was great funky house/old skool really good.
people were great too apart from a few bitchy girls.
agree about the lady on the door what a cow, was a group of us and she wouldnt let one lad from the group in....witch!
overall great night.

Went to Relish on the weekend 17.11.07, door staff had a huge attitude, music wasn't great and the GM walks around with a stick up his ass. Perhaps he's forgot he's a pub manager, nothing more. Cocktails were good though but then again there's lots of places we can get nice cocktails. Overall, don't go for atmosphere, is a waste of time.....

Ya relish has definitely gone down hill. Nice drinks but everything else is a waste of time. Def agree - staff and GM have an attitude problem and have clearly forgot that they're there for the customers, not the other way around..... Won't be going back!

I've been in Relish 3 times in the past couple of months & the door men & women were fine with me, not seen any negativeness. Drinks average priced, variety of party people. Only issue is not nice Rose wine, need to invest in White Zinfandel. Also the steps onto the dancefllor need better lighting. As funny as it is watching people stumbling down them, its a compensation claim waiting to happen.

Relish does sell a white zinfandel, was drinking it all new years eve, jst ask the staff about the wine. was a good night

This used to be a really nice place to go into stylish and classy, but after Saturdays events will never set foot in the place again. It was full of scally girls all dancing about thinking they were ten men. after lots of fighting and people being thrown out then let back in to cause even more trouble. I saw one girl get hit in the face by a heel of a shoe and after seeking medical assistance of the door staff who were totally unsympathetic or helpful towards her. Despite being a nice venue with good line up DJs this place is the pits. Think of sports bar only 10 times worse. Certainly not stylish hip or trendy more rough, wannabe gangsters and frigtening 0/10

The place is Rough. Full of scallys and wanna be gangsters absolutely awful. Too small and everyone ends up fighting because they let to many people in. Door staff absolutely no use what so ever. And i work in here. Management dont want to know anything except to make money. Place should be called FLUSH cos its absolute s*it. Get rid of your scallys and you have a great night unfortunately jsut to many to stop.

Relish is full of people who have an IQ of 2 which also incorporates the majority of staff. If you want a night out where every one is a wannabe trying to rub shoulders with the minor celebs in the VIP room then this is a place for you Its full of attitude...bad attitude!

I love Relish I go most Fridays for the ugly nights and its so good! Dead chilled out and really good atmosphere The music is brilliant...defo got the best djs around Im always ther till the lights come on haha....defo the place to be in manchester at the moment.

good venue etc but common & rough clientelle! full of wanna be bad boys & girls...wot??? witnessed 3 fights, awful. need to be stricter on the door to stop rough girls & boys getting inside. Til then I wont be coming again!

Ive not been relish 4 ages now but wen i did go it used to be ona fri nyt! Da door staff are rude, but i fink da overall vibes of the club is k but you do get da odd ppl dat fink der all dat! I will go agen neways cuz not lettin nuffink stop me from goin out...But 4 all u complaining, GET OVER IT! Betta 2 go out of mancs, i do quite alot and it is so much BETTA!

Relish is amazing on friday nights. The sexyugly theme is great and for the DJ is really goodd... he mixes in old school R&B and Dance....
