Total disrespect for lads coming in for a pint of Stella, a complete lack of bright lights, filth plastered to the walls of the gent's toilets and cocktails to die for...yes I have died and gone to heave....socio rehab?!?!?

Socio rehab...needed to go into rehab after the dark and depressing half hour in this dodgey gaff..dirty and too busy and the toilets are gross. The cocktails were ok but try going and having a cocktail made propperly and in a nicer environment.. try obsidian under the arora hotel or panacea or restaurant bar and grill... bars for grown ups not wanna be northern quarter skanks. dont believe da hype !rubbish... go to Blu if you wanna anywhere round there. at least blu is clean. A great bar, if you want a nice clean bar with idiots in suits standing round waving their fat wallets about then fack off to another bar. This is a dark and underground hideout and doesnt give a f*ck about expensive luxuries. If you want good cocktails, friendly staff and a laid back arena to chill then its perfect. A jewel in the Northern Quarter crown I say. Once more, the images plastered walls in the toilets..a bloody great look if not frustrating! Its the mutts nutts, so Rachel get your little powdered tush round to Cloud 23 and lick the face of a rich man, and stay out these Northern Quarter skank pits!

Thoroughly enjoyed it when I was there. Although I didn't try any of their drinks (I was driving) my friend who did do was most impressed. Great bar, great place. Will definitely go in there again, aslong as I am not in a group of 3 or more guys. *rollseyes*

Had another great night in here on Saturday - staff vibe and crowd well sound, decent tunes and decent drinks - you cant get a night like this anywhere else in town.

Geat bar? Great Night? You have to be kidding [or more likely under the influence of the contents of a vets' case]! Ok, a great range of products and a generally high level of knowledge in respect of the same can be said. Why, though, any visitor would consider it desirable to wade through filth the entire evening for the privilige of poor service, random quality and, at times, abuse [from the staff who tend to be more intoxicated than the customers] escapes me! Mind you, different strokes and all that!

Congratulations on a superb return to form! Whilst great drinks were always more or less guaranteed the new stewardship of Tom has seen Socio move up another notch and, in doing so, probably establishes itself as the finest venue in town for a superb range of products, great drinks and fantastic staff! Well done guys.

Extremely pretentious staff with a cliquey atmosphere, I was willing to look beyond this as the drinks are very good. Final straw was to have a friend rudely treated. Eventually taken outside with the manager/supervisor who in no uncertain terms informed his well built friend start a fight with my friend. I luckily managed calm the situation down, but I won't be returning here due to the extremely arrogant and rude attitude of the staff.

I loved this bar, sexy barmen & a bit of flirting goes a long way. Haha. Think I had a zombie (cocktail) which was a lovely drink but shared it with a friend. Will have one each next time! Might go in this weekend actually.
