That didn’t last long then- The Chocolate Cafe is now shut. I think the location is being blamed mainly and the small size of the unit. It was tiny. The company have retreated back to Ramsbottom to plan their next move. It’s rumoured this was only an experiment so they could see how the Chocolate Cafe concept went down in the city, with a view to possibly opening up an outlet in a bigger store, so they may yet return.

Opened in May 2009, the second in a chain hailing from Ramsbottom, The Chocolate Cafe specialises in all things chocolate, from drinks to pizzas. Sandwiches, jacket spuds and usual cafe fodder are all also available.
