The Purple Pussycat??? is it a strip club??? is it a brass house??? no... its the new best bar in manchester.
despite its modest exterior, there is no expense spared on the interior. i've never even seen a rubber bar before! Fur on the walls? lips that you wee into... i love it!
its not officially opened yet so get there soon before everyone finds out about this hidden gem.

Purple Pussycat is hot. Went down to the opening party and suffice to say ... NQ is so yesterday. Trouble is tell we want to keep it a secret.

WOW! what a great bar. went down on sunday during a visit to mojo. atmosphere is great, decor is great, music is great and the bar staff are s*it hot... and very good looking. x
i have been able to get myself on the guest list for wednesday for the official opening. can't wait!

Didnt rate this bar one bit, we were very disappointed, maybe we got there early, we got there around 9 and left at 945 ish, headed in to Mojo, then hit the Printworks. Looked funky tho and staff were lovely!

this place was dead just after xmas but now its the only bar in manchester that stands out for me, the bar staff are rapid and fairly well versed...the music is an odd mix of retro, funky disco and rare house and electronica, stef and leo on the saturday worth particular mention! and it s not at all up its own arse but yet not full of idiots...like i said the only bar standing out on its own initiative in manchester as far as i can see. Must visit

this place is the dog s. its open till 4 so 11 is best time to head in. top top tunes on the saturday, some rare rare treats i ve not heard in years! eclectic crowd, got my drinks quick before dancing........awesome

Went here in Dec 08, 1st time in manchester and asked a taxi man where is open late (because it was a sunday and it was dead) and was delighted that he said this place was open to 4am. Dragged my friend with me and some random Welsh guys and loved it

Went in on Saturday after a few in Mojos. Got in there at about 10:30 and it was dead, bar staff said it gets busy after 11:30. Had a pint and moved on about 11 as couldn't be arsed waiting that long. Will go back another time later on, probably spend longer in Mojos.

The pussy cat is the coolest bar in manc. great music, been going back since last year hoping to find the sexist blacl dj. with now availe. anyone who he is

Love going in after coming out of mojo's love the poles and music. staff are nice it's awesome.

used to like it here but now it kicks off everynight, everyone is off their heads on coke and the staff can t even pour a good drink steer clear

Would anyone be able to tell me what pricing is like? Is it expensive?

I think the reviews here would be more accurate if people had to subscribe to this service. This thread really doesn't help me to decide whether or not to visit as some of the reviews here are written by staff & the other half by competitors or people that for whatever subjective reason have an axe to grind. On the whole I reckon we'll go have a look coz the urinals are a pair of lips which is summat I got to see... lol. & these guys ran another club I know that was superb.
