Great pub!
The staff are friendly, music is cool and the lunch time food is tasty.

This pub is an absolute disgrace to the pub trade. Happy to serve you all the drinks you want at 10:59pm and then three minutes later they turn the jukebox odd and start getting heavy with the punters to drink up and leave by five past 11. We were in there once and when we questioned why we were being asked to leave so soon after 11pm we were swore at by the bar man and asked if we wanted to "sort it out outside" not a very customer friendly place at all. Avaoid at all costs!

dave carte neglects to mention that he and his mates had just vandalised the toilets and had begun being abusive when asked to leave because of this. Next time you have a problem you should come and see us rather than writing lies on the internet like a little girl.

I don't know if Dave Carte realises it but the pub changed hands a while back and considering i know the staff really well i'll tell you right now no one in that pub would ask you to take it outside. And maybe you need to read up about licensing laws a bit

FANTASTIC went in on monday night had a quiz night on there was free food and for the winners there was a ?20 prize all for free great nite see yoy again next monday

Great pub. I go busking in Manchester every Christmas on mad friday and we always de-camp to there after. The Bar and door staff are always really pleased to see us each year and the afternoon spent playing/singing in there is as much fun as the busking. Really-REALLY great atmosphere too.

This review is greatly mistaken! The bar has changed hands since this review I'm sure because the staff there would NEVER be so rude to a customer.
We often stay open past last orders just to give the punters time to finish their drinks and the juke box doesn't get turned off until AFTER everyone has left.
I was shocked by the review stating barstaff swore at the customers

Friend and I went to this bar when we were up in Manchester at the weekend. The staff were really friendly and the food was fine, we would certainly go there again.
