Love it, mainly on account of the improved level of cleanliness compared to Fab.

Cool friendly staff, quirky tunage, unpretentious and plenty of memorabilia on the walls to keep you amused.
I dont think the price of the beer is expensive, in fact the most you pay for a pint is 3 pound, hardly need to re-morgage your house for that now do you?

Its odder than "ODD", fabber than "FAB", posher than "COMMON", "TROF" all you like on the made from scratch mouth watering meals at a reasonable price, no need to go to "REHAB" when your feeling "BLUU", "TV21" is the pooches pods

this place lacks the soul you find in fab cafe manchester, the customer service of fab liverpool and the amazing eagle lander that is the dj booth in fab leeds. Being a massive fan of the brand i can't help but feel, this is an amateurish attempt to recreate a concept long established by others. You can't better the fab cafe brand so why would you try? I wished i'd invented the post-it but, i didn't. So i got over it and had an idea all of my own.

Cracking comedy night on the last Tues of the month with Mick Ferry

on a chilly winters eve, my partner and i stumbled upon this little gem of a bar, we were in awe. dazzled by the WACKY decor, we knew we were in the presence of cool. seriously, this place is hip. Stood at the genious of a never before seen round bar we were served in a flash. whilst i flashed a glance at the bar tenders heaven sent sweet cheeks. Thomas, i think his name was, However the drink selection was so vast we were not as forthcoming in our choice of drinks. to put a long story short, it was a damn good nite, although i now hate the smiths...

I can't stay out of this place. Great food at good prices during the week, good crowd and decent drinks that don't break the bank at weekend. The decor is unique, the space ship is well cool, and it doesn't suffer the clautraphobic feeling you get in the dirty old fab.

Had a totally tasteless veggie burger in Piccadilly, it may as well have been made of paper napkins; all I could taste was the ketchup. The day then got better... went to see 'Hancock' (great!) at the Printworks, had a chocolate milkshake (took away the after-taste of Burgery Nothingness), and called in at TV 21 after the movie. Early, so it was quiet, but the omellette was excellent!

The Fab is still my fave place, I have many fond memories... buit it does need a bit of an upgrade now: bigger TV screens (the old sets are getting harder on the eyes now!), and better, muppet-proof toilets, though I can only speak of the dank forbidden zone that is usually referred to as the 'gents'.

This bar is awful, it had little choice in drinks having run out of most early on in the evening. The music wasn't brilliant and the DJ was extremely rude when asked for requests, and refused to play one request for a friend off to Afghanistan as he didn't support the war.

Saturday night downstairs at TV21: the fifty year old owner is also the DJ ...he sits there with a laptop and a hard drive full of shite. Oi, tight arse, employ a proper dj who knows what music is, rather than that bollocks you put out. Disgrace to the northern quarter.

every time me and my frieands go the door men have a bad attitude and never let us in they only let the girls in that they think they got a chance with ... its outradgeos.....

the place has always been a good night spot to go . i like the music and the people are frendly,, the bar can be a bit of a wait ,,, and the door people are very rude and bullies ,, but apart from that its a good place .. sally and jess

Couldn't get a table at Trof or Odd bar because people sat there neither eating or drinking. Went to TV21 and had really good credit crunch sunday dinner for a ?5, it was gorgeous.

Can't wait til it shuts down x

i fierst found tv21 after a shoppin spree at xmas ...needless to say i needed to sit and chill...this i did, seved by friendly chatty staff who were helpful and funny i soon relaxed....in fact i didnt leave till late and then i was ordered a taxi and helped with my bags to it we now use it as our wkend local! the age mix is wide but no one cares so go and try it no matter your age. thank you tv21 staff ...you're stars

I found this place really disappointing. It is quite grotty and although it was really busy it didn't have a great atmosphere. It reminded me of a student night out but nowhere near as good. Sorry

Can i just say that since around january of 2010 (when i started going) its been a pretty cool place to go for something to eat ( not been on the weekend yet). Staff were pretty friendly and i think they have recently refurbished the place. I hear its under new management too, i recommend checking it out anyways.......

Oh and for any1 that thinks this is a pretender to the likes of fab cafe (similar decor and music etc) thats because it was created by the same people. Get your facts right before you slate anything..........

When it first opened, it was great, but just like Fab, it has been usurped by talentless tossers who have no idea what entertainment is all about

Me and my colleagues ventured here after our Christmas Party was a let down- the result of the evening was two stolen coats, one stolen purse and a stolen handbag (which later got returned less cash and cigarettes- (thanks thieves you are too kind). The person that dealt with us on the night acted like we were stupid to expect anything less on a night out in Manchester- we are all local and never experience anything on this scale
