decor needs a change

the best place to get pulled in the centre

Went in on Saturday night and the place was rammed. Decor is different to say the least, but in a good way. Had a really good night. Ok, they don't do draught beer but if that is what you insist on drinking then there are plenty of places that do nearby. Personally i'd much rather have a great tasting bottle of imported lager in here than a pint of flat Fosters in Bluu!

Went in on thursday with my other half for something to eat and ended up being in there until the death drinking cocktails with the friendly barstaff. They told us to come back on saturday night. So thats exactly what we did and it was one of the best nights out that us and our friends had had in a long time. Only downfall is we had to queue up for 5 minutes but totally worth it!

cool bar. The staff are friendly and the cocktails are ace! Nice to have somewhere different for a change.

went down on monday afternoon after the bar show. the place is amazing, the lads behind the bar really know their stuff, and the food was fantastic. love the bar front. first class. please ignore all the jumped up chav muppets who give this place a bad review, F*CK OFF to wetherspoons and never darken this doorstep again

lovely bar, lovely drinks, very entertaining watching people walk into the glass door, staff are a little strange and the service leaves somewhat to be desired but over all really good night

This is my favourite bar at the moment! Still quite roomy at the moment but i'm sure that will all change when more people discover it.

Music is a variety and not too weird like in some of the Norhtern Quarter bars that play strange salsa stuff and the like. . Maybe that will keep a few of the arsey types out who are more bothered about how they look and giving others who just want a good night free from scallies the evil eye.

Also Cool staff and friendly bouncers (unlike on TV 21 where the bouncers have a massive chip on their shoulders and a seroius attitude problem)

A welcome addition to the Northern Quarter. Well done whoever owns this!

Who cares if they don't sell draught! It's alcohol.

Only minus point is that when you get a soft drink it's in those mini fun size cans, which they load up with ice to look bigger in a glass - bit stingy.

Me and my friends love Walrus! We first went few months back and fell in love with the place and especially the great bar staff, though this have been because we stood at the bar hassling them for ages to keep making us the same shots again and again, however they were great and put up with our drunkenness with ease! Whats more now when we go in they always say hi like an old friend which makes us love the place even more, plus the cocktails are great.......so would recommend this place to anyone!
