Part of the Eclectic Boutique Hotels group, who operate three of the finest (and smallest) hotels in Manchester. Two in nearby Didsbury, but this is their first foray into Manchester city centre. You won't be disappointed - forget everything else (even the Hilton) this is Manchester's most exclusive boutique hotel.

Not even built yet and generating more interest that a pop star - the 338 room Macdonald hotel promises to bring hotels into the Ipod age. There's little reason to leave your room, as the hotel offers in-room music facilities, a mini bar and a state of the art TV. On site there's a spa, gym and 24hr room service, plus free wireless internet throughout. If you do feel the need to head outside then the hotel is well-located for Manchester city centre, and a stones throw from the nearby Piccadilly Station.

Another stunning boutique hotel for Didsbury, the Didsbury House hotel has just twenty six bedrooms (all very tastefully put together), a bar and an on-site spa. Whereas the nearby 11 Didsbury Park - the second boutique hotel in the area - is contemporary, the Didsbury House is classical. 24hr room service was not available when this Victoria villa was built, but for just Ł100/night you can enjoy that pleasure.

One of Two fine boutique hotels in Didsbury (a small trendy suburb about ten minutes from central Manchester) and this is the smallest with just nineteen bedrooms. The Eleven Didsbury Park has two on site bars, and a stunning private garden. The rooms - which are stunning - start from just Ł100 per night. Bargain!
