About W3

One of the earlier developments in the City Centre and at a prime location, this is a large scale building by Redrow and consists of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, duplexes and penthouses, many with balconies and some with roof terraces.

The site is on the corner of Oxford Road and Whitworth Street West, located opposite the Palace Theatre and Cornerhouse Cinema. This is most definately a block for those that love to be in the hustle and bustle of the city centre as this is the busiest bus route in Europe and has many bars, restaurants and nightclubs within a five minute walk. For convenience there's a Sainsburys Local underneath the building as well as a trendy Italian restaurant that has opened recently.

Due to the location prices for renting and buying apartments are higher than many other builds, but this is expected. For those that crave exciting city centre living then this could be for you, although I would argue that there are more attractive buildings available for less than this and that noise could be an issue if you have an apartment that faces out on to the street.

The building is fine, the location great, some of the student renters (how they afford this block I don't know) show little respect to the communal parts or the other residents

We live here facing out onto the street and one of us wears cotton buds and one listens to an iPod to get to sleep. Not for the faint hearted!
