Central Manchester is a thriving (semi) metropolis with a huge array of accommodation. The great thing about staying in Manchester is that the city centre, which stretches around four miles across, has smaller districts with their own unique heritage but it is still small enough to walk around. There are hundreds of hotels, with some of the larger, modern accommodation in Piccadilly and on Deasgate, whilst there are still plenty of budget chains and smaller, price-conscious places. The city also has its fair share of boutique hotels, like the St John Street hotel and the newly re-opened Abode, and on the whole the accommodation should fit the budget between £50 and £500.
