A second Ibis for Manchester City Centre, and the hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms at very cheap rates. This one's a little bit closer to the city centre, located on the busy Portland Street with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants around it. Manchester's famous Chinatown is just a few steps away, and the busy Oxford Road corridor and Manchester's Gay Village are within walking distance.(ave rating)This hotel is rated

The Ibis is a relatively large hotel with over a hundred and twenty rooms - seven of which are wheelchair accessible. There's an onsite bar/snack service that operates twenty four hours per day, and wi-fi access throughout.

Portland Street is one of the main roads through central Manchester, and can easily be reached via the A57(m) Inner Ring Road. If your travelling in from the M6 or M62 then exit at the M602 and follow the road through Salford until it turns in to the A57(m). Take the second exit - the road splits immediately in to two, so take the right road and you'll pass through UMIST University. Go straight on through the first set of lights to travel through the Gay Village, make a left and then you'll see the Ibis Portland Street on the right hand side after another set of traffic lights.
