Beetham Tower, Deansgate, Manchester.
The stunning Hilton on Deansgate was opened in 2006 inside the Beetham Tower. The Hilton has on site leisure facilities, plus the Podium bar and restaurant. It's location on Deansgate is ideal, and the hotel is everything that 'Hilton' stands for - and then some. Within five minutes walk are a plethora of clubs, bars and restaurants, with Manchester's main shopping district just a few minutes down Deansgate. Deansgate Locks is just across the road.

rated: 4/5The Apartment Company, Manchester
Great Ancoats Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester.
A group of twenty serviced apartments in the Northern Quarter - great prices (From ?69 for a double) and with one, two and three bedroom apartments it's ideal for those that are travelling to Manchester in larger groups, for business or pleasure! Great location, and great facilities inside the apartments - the larger ones include two bathrooms, including a wet room.
23 Talbot Road, Greater Manchester, Manchester.
The small, but perfectly formed, Trafford Hall hotel is a few minutes walk from Manchester United, and has 33 budged rooms (double rooms start at ?40). Free car parking is a huge bonus, especially if you're visiting Manchester United, and you've got Manchester city centre just down the road. If that's too far then there's a hotel bar, or nearby Trafford has it's own pubs and restaurants.
Jarvis Piccadilly, Manchester
Piccadilly Plaza, Piccadilly, Manchester.
The Jarvis Piccadilly is the monster hotel that overlooks Piccadilly Gardens. This former budget hotel is now having a refit, and it'll soon open up a new bar and restaurant that overlooks the city. One of the most central hotels in Manchester, but only worth it if you're not paying full price.
Victoria Bridge Street, Salford, Manchester.
Apartments are available for two to four people, in a single double bed or two double bed configuration, and with excellent rates (as low as ?75 per night if you stay for a minimum of two nights). rated: 4/5Lushpads Northern Quarter, Manchester
18-20 Oldham St, Northern Quarter, Manchester.
The cost for one of these apartments is slightly more than your average apartment in Manchester, but there's a reason for that. The gorgeous living area, bedrooms and bathrooms are kitted out with everything you need for your stay, and the huge living area has brick walls and dark wood floors, for that 'loft conversion' feel. Centrally located, and within easy reach of everything that the city centre, Northern Quarter and Piccadilly have to offer.
Clippers Quay, Salford Quays, Manchester.
The Copthorne is in Salford Quays, which is just a short tram ride from the city centre and even closer to Old Trafford. Rooms are an absolute bargain (book well in advance and get a double for ?61) and the hotel offers 24hr room service, free car parking, an on site restaurant...the list goes on. Someone should tell the Copthorne that they're not charging enough...until then, enjoy the great prices!

Gt Northern Tower, Manchester
Watson St, City Centre, Manchester.
A great location on Peter Street, although be wary that at night it may be a little 'lively' for some, this apartment is within walking distance of central Manchesters shops, bars and restaurants, in fact there's plenty around the base of this building. Fairly easy to find by car, and with parking next to the building (NCP). This serviced apartment sleeps up to four, in two double bedrooms, and comes with wireless internet.
rated: 4/5Malmaison hotel Manchester, Manchester
Piccadilly, Piccadilly, Manchester.
The ultimate mass-market Boutique hotel, and despite being eclipsed by some of it's neighbours the Malmaison is still a cut-above the average city centre hotel, yet with rooms from ?99 it's a bargain.
