Finally it’s here and once again The Warehouse Project have delivered a set of events that stand out as the best in Manchester, if not the country. Where 2009 started, underneath Piccadilly station with Mylo’s beats throbbing the insides of the collected masses, so it shall end in the same cavernous mecca, The Warehouse Project once again pulling their usual trick of holding back some of the big name acts until later in the year.

Events this year run from Friday 25 September 2009 to Friday 1 January 2010 and stick, naturally, with The Warehouse Project’s slant towards electronica. A scan through the listings will draw out big names such as Goldie, who has the honour of kicking off this year’s proceedings, Aphex Twin, Roni Size, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong and David Guetta. There’s also a good showing from this year’s lauded popstrels with La Roux and Little Boots headlining a night each. Those of a slightly more indie persuasion may be tempted by live showings from Jack Penate, Friendly Fires and Hot Chip. In amongst all that lot there’s a plethora of acts, DJs, local talent and legends, far too many for me to keep banging on about here so without further ado I’ll get on with it and give you this year’s full line-up. Be warned – it’s massive (in both the literal and metaphorical sense). Tickets can be bought here and judging by last year’s demand, you’d better get in quick.
