You might not have heard of BEDA, but in a nutshell they're the Bar and Entertainment Association. Made up of the cream of UK bars, clubs and nightlife operators, they get together each year in order for a bit of a knees up and they dish out awards to the establishments that they like the most. Bear in mind that they're all bar/club operators themselves, so they know a good thing when they see it, and last year they voted Odder (Oxford Road) their bar of the year.
