I think it will be a good idea, although I do agree with the rain idea because it does rain a lot in england and it may be cold, but wireless networks and deckchairs woo! and as for the emos/chavs whatever, i'm sure they all can still go there to enjoy the beach i mean come on they all have to mix in schools and everywhere else, get over it!

Totally agree the beach sounds amazing! Fortunatley your wasting you time for all you moshers cos this is gonna be the best beach party ever so there.

we think the beach is the best idea to come to manchester where everyone of all ages can come and enjoy themselves and its free to get in. There is going to be top dj's playing and live bands what could be better than that For all the ones who are slating the beach then just dont come!

I agree with this beach idea, I think it's a cool idea and it's inventive...
However, all this slating of moshers/emos/chavs is unnecessary. They have kinda made Urbis their own, but guys a bit of sand won't hurt much, I've been to see it and it isn't where most of us hang out.

As for people who are complaining about moshers/emos, it's more chavs that are the problem [not all chavs, just destructive ones], because moshers/emos prefer to just chat and chill rather than go around smashing things up.

It doesnt matter what you put there, us moshers and scallies and other "grouped up idiots" arent going anywhere. Urbis is a place for people who dress how they like and make friends with other people like that; there isnt anywhere else in manchester we can do that without being "beefed" on. Moving us away from Urbis would just put 300 teenagers on the streets...which wouldnt exactly be a smart move

This city doesnt revolve around Moshers and Chavs, most of us cant stand either of you grouped up idiots, should you be painted white on a skateboard or burberryed up, Its a great Idea... I hope it cleanses the area of Moshers and lets the real people of Manchester claim back that area... not freal who travel from all over to stand around looking at each other looking like freaks.. Cant wait..

Think the 'Beach Club Manchester' sounds wicked... you've certainly got my vote Manchester is a great city which will be improved by your project. There is the possibility it could attract scallies, but lets face it, they're everywhere... and they're unavoidable. Still, there are plenty of other Mancunians that will benefit from this so why let the Scallies ruin it for everyone else

right now Urbis is a nice place, where the moshers/emos/ect. . . of manchester and the surrounding area go, this is there place in Manchester, like chavs and scallys have there place, though some chavs try causeing trouble with the moshers of Urbis is seems ok most of the time
you bring a beach into the equation, you basically f**k the system up, booz and free internet, this will bring in chavs, they get drunk and cause lots of trouble, this will no longer become a failry quite place, and us moshers get thrown out,
