Label, the trendy bar cum club on Deansgate, launched Boogaloo which runs very Friday night. Upstairs in the bar you've got beats, with deep and funky house grooves to wind you into the weekend, whilst downstairs in the club space you'll find the Good for the Soul DJs playing club and dance floor grooves from the 70s right up to the naughties.

Fridays in the bar with Good for the Soul bring you an eclectic soundtrack to kick your Friday nights into shape. A rotating line up of residents spin a mixture of hip-shakin funk, electric disco and sweet soul music, all with some cheeky old favourites thrown in for good measure.

Robbie56 says...Went to Boogaloo on NYE after seeing it on here. had to travel a long way but wasnt dissapointed at all. Great night, cool tunes, great people. It was busy but for a new years eve it was just fine.
Cant wait to go back ASAP!

paul harris says...the music in the club isnt my bag but the funk and disco in bar is tip top. just wish they would move that downstairs!
John Harper says...went on nye after seeing it on this site and was suprised how good it was, although it was busy and a sell out it wasnt that busy it was uncomfortable, i will go again.
Joane Greening says...I think this place is a hidden gem really, the music is good and the people are cool, its a difficult one as it is in between Wetherspoon and living room, but the door staff are a lot better here and you get a good cross section of people... the music and venue is very good and the accommodated a party of us after email through WHLN my only downside to the night is the price of drinks at label.. your rating is a little unfair too.
