sankeys is shite and overated, end of.

sankeys dress code is a joke as well, you get there only to be told you cant come in cos ur wearing something we dont allow today. Never going there again no matter how fooking good it is. And the doormen/stewards or whatever they call themselves are just sankey bummers, maybe not all of them but a certain few are.

I was really looking forward to this event and made sure I got my ticket a few weeks ago. I arrived at the opening time of 9pm and there was a queue of people without tickets but the doorman asked me queue up behind them which I polity did. When I went to hand my ticket over, one of the many foreign doormen who struggled with the English language, rudely told me to step aside, I was confused and asked him what the problem was, he gave me a dirty look and told me, move or be moved cos your not coming in, I was completely shocked and asked why, another doorman threatened me and pushed me away. I eventually got a refund (minus the booking fee). I was dressed smartly and didn't mutter a word whilst I was queuing. I just cant believe they are allowed to treat people this way. a few minutes later, I walked back over to a different doorman, when I asked him what was the reason? he shouted "F**K OFF. Nice hey! I'm never going near that place again and I am currently writing a formal complaint. I also found out that there was loads of trouble at the end of the night, doormen fighting and cars being smashed up and I always got told it was a friendly atmosphere?
