It really depends what you want from a night out. I agree that waiting times can be an issue, however this is the same as most places. Music does not diverse much from dance. They play some indie but it feels like they either took a wrong turn or at best hesitated at what juntion they were aiming for because a soon as possible, they will revert back to whatever generic pop or dance beat they were playing hours ago. To be fair if a good night is what you are after, especially on a wednesday and being a student, like me, then it is good fun.

go revolutions in fallowfield on the tuesday night and you can buy bands there. We got bands, asked the bouncer where we had to queue and he took almost straight in. The drinks arent too bad if you drink vodka rebull, some of the bouncers can be arseholes though

Rehab is a really good night out, its the student night on wednesdays so you cant go wrong! Double vodka and red bull for only £2, would recommend buying about 2 or 3 for yourself when you do actually get served as it takes forever. Plays really good music, its not all dance, the indie kicks in around 1 o'clock. First time i went it was an amazing night but it was way too hot and i kept on having to go outside to the smokers to get fresh air-also too crowded. The queue's can be huge at times but people should get there earlier, for about half 9 so they get a decent place in the queue! The bouncers are t*ats, especially the little blonde woman. I used my NUS card on the guestlist and she sent me on my way, i queued up for about 20 mins on the other queue and they let me straight in! Cant have different rules for different people its stupid. Overall an amazing night-the double vodz gets you f*cked like anything!

this is the best student night out ever...cheap drinks no trouble..just a laugh...anyone and everyone will enjoy this night out with no probs....the music is really gud aswell

amazing night.. bu they seriously need to control the amount of people coming in or put sum ar conditioning in there..! i nearly died of claustraphobia last tym i was there.!

i have just found this site and i feel that everyone who feels compelled to tell random people on the internet about there last night are complete tossers. And if anyone is wondeing the criteria to get in its 15 stone and under without a piece of PRIMARK clothing on.

Dont even bother with the guestlist. the queue for it is bigger than the normal queue. Get in early on a weds, otherwise you will wait for hours with no guarantee you will even get in. once in its a great night tho

Really really poor. Went last night massive que outside but no one inside. £5 entry as well Far too much crap dance music there and drink prices are horrific. Roll on September and the AU socialat M2.

s*ite night argree with most on this. To packed can never get a drink and end up wasting half the night cueing up. Doubt il ever try it again.

Completely Rubbish what's the hype about? Ratio of boys to girls is 4 - 1. Bottled beers are £3.20, doubles are £3.00 and they keep people queuing outside even though it was empty inside. Very overrated.

Brilliant night out, Laughing gas, good dancing tunes, friendly faces and pole dancing for all, Lovely. Would definatley reccomend!

dont know what this girl is talking about, this is manchesters best student night quality music, hot dancers and funny drag queen ripping everyone in the club, laughing gas free every week its quality

birdcage is too over crowded and you text to be on the guest list and yet they still dont let you in for at least an hour. they have stupid women on the front door who dont have a clue what there doing i thought it was going to be a really good night and it turned out to be a disaster half of my friends didnt even get in what a waste of time! really rubbish wouldnt reccomend it to anyone
