The Aftershow review
Danny Macnamara's new Indie driven night, formerly at Sankeys but now at the new live music venue Moho Live in the NQ, aims to put on a 'festival each week' in the Northern Quarter. This has now slipped to a monthly feature after the event failed to set Sankeys alight, but hopes are high that their new home will bring them more success.
"Our manifesto is simple... There is no VIP area. Everyone who makes it through the doors is a very important person to us. We will put on three or four great new bands every Thursday with the emphasis on great as well as in this case... THE NORTH. The evening will begin at 8pm and finish at 3am. Throughout the night we will also showcase some of the areas best up and coming DJ's."
