The Best Indie Night Ever review
Pretty much does what it says on the tin - Indie music all night long in one of Manchester's most infamous alternative haunts. 42nd Street is situated off Deansgate and just a few steps from the Alco pop fuelled bars on Peter Street - inside the club is dark and dingy with a friendly crowd. Drinks prices are usually on the wrong side of cheap, often ?1.50 will get you a bottle of strange coloured (very intoxicating) booze.

Head down with a flyer before 11 to get in for free.

It is amazing! there is a massive selection of pound drinks in the week and some good deals on the weekend. It is smaller than 5th but its still a nice size and there is two bars at either end on the club so its not too bad for getting served. I text the mobile 07508995292 and you can get free entry and q-jump, which is worth it because of the queues. x

42s needs to sort out its bouncers! they let anyone in. I know girls nad lads of 15 that go without I.D
42s is known as a childs playground to me and everyone i know. Its slowly becoming less popular for older people and more popular for young'ens.
I'd choose 5th ave anyday but i do like the odd night at 42s.
