***Updated July 2010***

The Warehouse Project are back in Store Street for winter 2010 with run of gigs to rival any they’ve put on before. This year is going to be massive for the Warehouse Project, voted number nine best club in the world in DJ Magazine and with a profile that grows each year, the sub-Piccadilly car park is going to be bursting at the seams this winter.

Kicking off on 23 September with a preview show headlined by Maximo Park, the format for 2010 runs pretty much as it has done for the last few years – every Friday and Saturday through to Christmas, with a couple of mid-week gigs thrown in there for good measure. They will be rounding things up as they always do on New Year’s Day, seeing in 2011 with two big nights, the line ups for which have yet to be announced.

We were going to say that the big gigs are likely to sell out quickly, so get your tickets in early for them, but there doesn’t look to be a weak gig in there so it’s likely they will all start selling out soon. Big names this year include Eric Prydz, Basement Jaxx, Kelis, Calvin Harris, Doves, Chase & Status, Pete Tong, Delphic, Ian Brown, David Guetta and, of course, many more. The Warehouse Project have also introduced a band of ‘residencies’ for this year’s gigs, who are made up of Jamie Jones, Joy Orbison, Jamie xx, Krysko, Greg Lord, Now Wave DJs, Andro and Rich Reason.

2010 looks set to be the biggest ever year for The Warehouse Project so check the calendar, pick your gigs, secure your tickets and get ready for a massive party – The Warehouse Project 2010 kicks off on September 23rd.

___________________________________________________________

The Warehouse Project are back for a third year at Store Street and have just announced their lineup for four months of immense gigs in the underground party place. Kicking off on Friday 25th September 2009 with Goldie on the decks, this winter’s events run every weekend right through to 1st January 2010, when they stage their now traditional closing party on the first night of the new year.

As expected, the lineup for 2009 contains some top names from the world of electronic music, with Fat Boy Slim, Aphex Twin, Roni Size, Eric Prydz and David Guetta all heading up nights, to name but a few. Popsters of the moment La Roux and Little Boots are also gracing the ex-carpark and a bit of diversity is provided this year with live sets from Friendly Fires and Jack Penate.

Last year saw unprecedented demand for Warehouse Project tickets with many events selling out way in advance and this year looks set to be no different. The big names will naturally draw the crowds, so if you fancy going to them we suggest you buy your tickets as soon as the thought enters your head, but the other gigs are just as likely to sell quickly.

Already established as one of the best club nights in the country, The Warehouse Project 2009 looks set to prove itself worthy of such laudatory. The range of artists presented is quite frankly staggering and their presence in the sub-Piccadilly space just seems to grow in atmosphere every year. Make no mistake, 2009 at The Warehouse Project will be something very special.

Oh my god - Sankeys developing a 16,000 capacity warehouse in salford quays, just along from old trafford. Going through planning right now. Called Stadium point it is massive venue aiming to rival the apollo and MEN arena with a seated capacity of around 7000. Even got a festival style layout. It may not be in town under a train station but its got a lot of potential. I wouldn't be happy if I lived nearby though!

Looks like Sankeys are at it again. Budweiser did a similar thing and some guy drowned in the canal after it. There is only one WHP......

looks like may be trying look with trafford council, seeing as machester said no way last year!

Went Warehouse Lastnight. Not for the first time. First experience was awesome! This time was beyond awful. One of the bouncers tried charging me and a friend ?5 to use the toilet.. when i told him to do one he gripped me by the throat (i'm a 27 year old woman) and tried draggingme out of the back door for a kicking! Managed to escape and leave via the main door where i went straight to the police!
The promoter apologised, said he would fire the guy AFTER he's worked the rest of the weekend!
Unbelievable!

Warehouse is amazing! Such a good night whatever the line up. Love it love it love it. It's rough round the edges but that only adds to the chram and atmosphere. Usually end up coming home with mud (?!) over my legs and shoes so don't wear your best heels ladies but even this does not distract from the wicked night u will have. I have always found everyone to be really friendly not rude like some others have said. Go, u will not regret it.

i went 2 swedish house, it was unbelievable, i cannot believe wot these ppl above are sayin. the police did not cause ne trouble at all, the bouncers were spot on, the music was incredible the sound system was unbelievable, shm absolutely stomped it out, the whole show was out of this world flames ice smoke lasers lights butterflies and the best tunes. as for the toilets jesus christ, wtf are u ppl bothered about them for, the club is in a fuckin car park, its a rave not a 5* hotel in the carribean. in summary it was 1 of the best nites of my life an i recommend it 2 every1 x

Hac nite last night (could be the night before now but i've only just woke up) wicked - as someone that can remember the Hac and wasn't 18 at the time I think my age kinda threw some of the little ones but the rugs were bang on so didn't notice all the pats on the head (only 5' 2") and the orrrrr's (please obviously their rugs weren't as good as mine)
Got to say though even in my oblivion - towards the back of the room wondered if they had a sound system and if they did was it turned on?
Would definitely have more of that but please make it my perfect night - ban the beer and if they're under 25 their names not down so don't let em in :)
& to the f****r that took me picture, when I saw that red light I thought you were gonna shoot me, taking pictures without askin as got to be an infringement of my civil liberties.

John Digweed absolutley destroyed the place for the Resident Adviser knees up. Its been a long time since I have seen a party go off like this. Mr Digweed is a genius and those who were there will not forget it. Thanks WHP.

Went to the Ape presents Beatdown this last Saturday...All I can say, is I had the most fantastic night ever. Me and 5 mates had a proper good night, beats were fab and atmosphere quite possible the best I'd personally experienced. Top night! I am told that the pints were expensive but, I wasn't drinking beer, I was on the water ;o) MINT (yes, all in capitals!)

Cocoon 08!

What an awful crowd! They were more interested in what each other were wearing than the music, i love WHP but Friday night was a disapointment and not the usual up for it Manc crowd! We left after an hour because we could not take it anymore. No Atmosphere! Too many pretty boys with vests and too much make up on! Come on lads what are you thinking!

I'm looking forward to the next one hopefully D&B will bring in a real crowd!

Went for Basement Ja Saturday, loved it! Yeah toilets were bad but there was no that way that could have ruined my night! Loved it!

Sacha night - May '08. Sound system/ PA awful. Massive waste of space - the venue had potential for some great decor but there was nothing. Loveless. Careless. Toilets disgusting with open troughs for men in full view under bright lights next to portaloos with no running water for washing hands. Lighting on dance floor not pleasant: harsh. We didn't wait for Sacha as the PA was so rubbish that nothing was going to sound good on it. Left disappointed and relieved to get out of there. Price a rip off. The worst party I have been to.
