New artists and bands are constantly being added to the Warehouse Project line-ups, you can view up to date listings below.

The Warehouse Project will run from Friday 29th September 2007 to Tuesday January 1st, with around 26 licensed events on Fridays, Saturday and the occasional Sunday/Midweek event. Last year the venue was the converted Boddingtons Brewery building, located at the end of Deansgate next to the MEN arena, and this year they're taking over another unused industrial space. The Warehouse Project takes place beneath Piccadilly Train Station, with the entrance to the club on Store Street.

We say: "Last years Warehouse Project was a huge success, and despite the inevitable teething troubles, the events were rammed and it was deemed as a success. A new venue this year - but one that was tested out back in May - means slightly less space, but more intimacy, and a much better location. The line-ups aren't as Manc as last year: no tie ins with local promoters other than the the DNB kings Ape and Metropolis, whereas last year saw joint promotions with Computer Controlled, Missing in Manchester and . Leeds based Federation and Liverpool's Chibuku make their way across the M62.

The Warehouse Project will light up the clubbing calendar like no other club in Manchester could."

They say: "The Warehouse Project presents around 30 concerts and unique music based events each bringing a vast array of DJs and live acts to Manchester. A real melting pot of the world’s most innovative and important artists and performers; The aim is to create a truly original environment where we can party and watch something special unfold."

I have a ticket for Soulwax but am not sure what time I'll be able to get there for. Does anyone know if they shut the doors at any point for people with tickets? Thanks.

HACIENDA WAREHOUSE PARTY
without stretching the imagination too far the line up = happy mondays, a guy called gerald, new order, 808 state and M people. All the DJs were loving it specially hookie who had obviously taken the opportunity to get away from the ball n chain and was quite clearly of his face. im only 18 seen so it was good to see all the old gaurd ravers of about 38-48 who all seem to be fine realy nice not to f*cked up people, very reasuring. atmosphere was fantastic nobodyn looked like they could belive how good it was. so devastated ill nevr see anything like that again. IM 20 YEARS TO LATE!

Went to the Haceinda night on Sunday and was really looking forward to it...as an 'oldie'...(39) I spent many a Saturday night at the Haceinda and most memorable...my 21st birthday. Must admit that the music came in peaks and toughs...Guy Called Gerald was most deffo a trough...dreadful. 808 state were frantic, as usual...but the highlight were my heroes, Mike Pickering and Graeme park...just sooo good to hear those tracks again in that type of atmosphere...missed it sooo much...the setting is amazing, a real underground feel to it. Something to tell my now 5 year old...well, not for sometime yet, anyway! Rave on my friends, rave on!

went to the closing party on new years day, was awesome. got ID'd on the door though, and would let us keep the ticket stubbs but wasnt too fussed. sebastiAn was quality, so was simian but was abit let down by 2manydjs. Boys Noize was the best by far, even playing a bit of blue monday. Quality night, quality venue! bring on WHP2008!

I've been to 4 warehouse projects and loved everyone... the night is what you make it!!! The police have never bothered me or anyone else i know and yes the toliets aren't the best but it's hardly going to ruin your night...

i went to mr scruff at the warehouse this year and was very dissapointed. i have been to the last two warehouses and also to beneath the streets and loved both of them. mr scruff was the first one i went to this year and hated most of the night. the music was boring and the atmosphere in there was terrible. everything changed when dj marky came on and the d n b started. it turned into an amazing 2 hours where the mood seemed to change and everyone livened up. to be honest though i have had much better nights at the warehouse and think that this years one is no where near as good as p*ss up in a brewery. beneath the streets was ok but this years is pretty crap

saw aphex there
paid £50 from a tout but i was more than happy to pay that.
pretty amazing night. didn't even get searched on the way in.
drugs were rife and the people were sound. the worst part of the night was trying to get my coat back from the cloakroom at the end of the night.
a word of advice - if you put your coat in the cloakroom try to get it back about half an hour before you want to leave. we waited for nearly an hour in a queue for our coats. if my wallet and train ticket weren't in it i would have probably just left it there.

Sniffer dogs?. Mate, they couldnt sniff a mountain of coke if they were dropped into it...Pfft.
Went for the Sven Vath gig which was fockin awesome.
First time at the venue and well impressed
Dark, Dingy, proper underground feel to it for sure. Still not sure as to why such a large police presence but hey. Didn't get no trouble so why complain.
As for the toilets...Ah all added to the feel of the place.
Brilliant place, shame so many youngsters were in there....

was really looking forward to hot chip and foals the other week and gave my spare ticket to a friend.
got to the venue and they let me past no problem, let my friend through on her ticket, ripped the tickets and everything, then we got to the bouncer and i showed him my id, i was fine, but he wouldnt let my friend through as she left her id in salford! no way we could get back on time to get it and have a decnet time in there! the bouncer was a bit of a prick really. funny thing is though i'm actually 16 and my id says i'm a 23 year old! from readin the other reviews though seems like i only missed out on foals

what is this bulls*it about the dibble ruinin your night?! Ive been 3 times now and goin again this saturday. Ive been off my tits by various means every time and the cops dont bat an eyelid once you're inside. stuff the drugs up your crack, put your thumb in the water bottle, and party!!!
As for the toilets? - this is a warehouse party, you shouldnt be p*ssin every ten minutes (if u know what i mean...)

went the manchester one on saturday, was actually alright. just thought it was cool because of where it was situated, i got id'd like but then i told him i was 20 - my girlfriend was quite dressed up i think thats why we got id'd cos everyone else was in casual wear, we got in in the end though the bouncer was alright. Liars were a pile of crap and so were hot chip - they were on TOO long. foals played an awesome set and new young pony club were ace too, all in all it was a good night but im glad i drank in the hotel cos the drink prices were abit steep. the atmosphere was good aswell, loadsa like minded clubbers jus wanted 2 have a good time but there was a few pricks. i think id go again and id recommend it to anyone whos considerin goin...

i've been a few times this year, and have found that i've been asked for ID on the nights that are a sell out, such as the ape 2nd birthday and digitalism. however i seem to be the only one who's been asked out of anyone i know, so i guess if you look young, they will ask you, but ID isn't a policy on the door.

Went to the cocoon party on friday night. Had a fantastic night.Sven Vath played a brilliant set, although he should have been on last. Have nothing bad to say at all. First time to the venue really liked it dirty, under ground, dark, wicked sound system. The perfect setting for a cocoon party.
The night was sold out but it wasn't over crowded, nothing like cocoon in Amnesia where you can't move sometimes!!
Only had to queue for the loos once but had a laugh. Really good crowd on friday. Have been to worse toilets in a muddy field at a festival so no complaints from me. Got served quickly at the bar everytime. They did stop serving early though!!
i had my bag slighty searched! no sniffer dogs and I only saw 1 policeman.
overall another top cocoon experience. Been to cocoon ibiza loads so to have in manchester was special.

First time at WHP for Pendulum n Goldie 10 Nov. THere was a pretty big police presence with sniffer dog on entrance but the dog must have had a cold!!! The place was rammed and when Pendulum played it was tough going dancing anywhere but there were other places with much more room. Toilets pretty grim but not really a problem and I've seen worse...what can ya expect in an underground warehouse!! Drinks pricey and warm but again, I have paid more and expect to pay over the odds on most nights out. Later in night you did have to queue to go out for a fag but no-one really seemed to mind too tough.Overall I thought the venue was really good, everyone really friendly and would deinately go again. Goldie was awesome

cannot believe what i'm reading here, people complaining about the toilets in a warehouse party? get the hell over it, it's not a proper club, it's how it used to be (to the extent of being in a warehouse obviously)
quit complaining, its expensive, yeah, but so what, you pay about £15-£18 to get into sankeys and such forth now anyway, and their line ups are so rubbish it hurts.
I've liked the 3 nights I've been to, I'm going again tonight for the Metropolis party and I plan on having a good one, while relaxing during Pendulums 'bound to be poo' set. seeya down there!
