Fish fish fish. Livebait, situated almost opposite the Manchester town hall, is a speciality fish restaurant. If you don't like feasting on something that used to swim or scuttle then this isn't the place for you. Otherwise this is a relatively enjoyable dining experience, with the bill a little on the weighty side, but nethertheless a good place for a fish lover.

A stunning venue, but not quite up to par in my book. Room is a modern english restaurant that certainly delivers on looks, but is sadly let down by service and - cough - the foods. Certainly one of the best looking restaurants, and I'd recommend that you give it a go at least once just to enjoy the decor, and for the bar, but don't expect too much. A great restaurant for a date, for the parents, or for friends.
