Castlefield is the leafy urban regeneration area that's surrounds the waterways of the Castlefield Basin. This serene district used to be a hub for bars and late night drinking (particularly during the summer) but now it's matured and is now home to more restaurants than bars. Recent openings Akbars, Salt n Pepper and the Sapporo Teppanyaki have brought this are up to date, whilst old favourites Alberts Shed and Choice are still very popular.
