Formerly Est Est Est, and now owned by Living Ventures the company behind the Living Room, Gusto brings the Est Est Est philosophy in to the naughties with fine Italian dining in the heart of Didsbury.

The interior lends itself to a traditional nineteen fifties new york italian eaterie, service is prompt and appluadable, a meal for two comes in at around £10 - £15 per head, and theres a quite extensive wine list with bottles from £10 to £40. There's also a good choice of vegetable sides, but a shallow selection of deserts.

The meaning of the word gusto, of course, means to eat with "enjoyment or vigour", or as the British may say "to stuff your face". With relatively inexpensive prices, and with food served from a menu that takes no risks, but delivers on quality, the foodies of Didsbury may take the word gusto to heart.
