Love Saves The Day review
A small deli and coffee shop located underneath an archway at the end of Deansgate. There's a wide range of coffees available, with fresh cakes and pastries, and you can eat inside or - when the weather permits - outside beneath the arches.
The deli can make fresh sandwiches, and there's a range of items in the chiller, plus a nice selection of healthy drinks. The coffees are great - I think they've won an award for these - and the prices are average for a deli.
With views out on to the intersection of Whitworth Street and Deansgate this is the perfect little deli to watch the world go by.
The original Love Saves the Day was in the Northern Quarter, but now there's plans to re-open a dedicated LSD up there as well.

Val Chapman says...Some friends and I visited this cafe on recommendation by The Times newspaper - we were thoroughly disappointed. Presumably, because the day was Sunday, they had food on display which they would not sell to us! Ever heard of a cafe/restaurant who refuse to sell you food? Neither had we. We were told that the food on display was for take-away sale only - unbelievable!
