Fantastic atmosphere and great tasty food. Really quick service even though there was quite a few of us. Waiter was brilliant and really attentive even though it was packed.

This is my favourite restaurant its absolutely gorgeous. The atmosphere, place, settng etc are all great and the service is fantastic weve always been served really quickly with the staff checking everything is ok. The foods delicous and you can afford to try dishes you wouldnt normally try for that price - i found my fave dish that way! 10 out of 10

These people that say its rubbish are bloody idiots its AMAZING get stuffed u horrible people saying that s*it u clearly know nothing !

After going here once, I'd never go again - the whole experience was awful! Took over two hours to get the food, and they didn't bother admitting to us that they'd mixed up the orders even after we asked numerous times - they just kept saying the food was coming soon. Were told that we could have a more expensive bottle of wine for the same price as the one we had first ordered only to find out later that they'd actually given us a cheaper one And then the food was absolutely disgusting - microwave meal! After plenty of complaining they still only gave us 30% off the bill. Awful service, awful food - Avoid!

I love this place, it is my all time favourite resturant- go for a casual meal after shopping or before a night out with the girls- a little garlic to scare off the manchester blokes it never a bad thing Go in a large group and get the waiter to recommend some tapas for u all to share- the risotto balls sound funny but are absolutley delicious, I don't know one person who has tried them and doesn't like them- we always have loads of alcohol and are always shocked at how little the bill comes to as there's usually food left because we're all so stuffed. Yyyyuuuummmmmyyyy

What a fantastic restaurant! It was absolutely delicious and very reasonable. Great when you can't chose just one thing from the menu. My husband and I shared 8 different dishes all superb.

I have been on four seperate occasions now, with different people and each time have had really good service and absolutely beautiful food.
I would like to thank the staff for making each visit pleasurable & enjoyable experience. I will definately be recommending Pesto to friends/family & associates.

Having visited pestos in manchester and the trafford centre i found the food and service brilliant and at a great price well worth a visit my kids loved it too.

Definately worth a try. We had 8 dishes between 2 of us and a pint and a half of peoni (on tap-delicious) and it only came to £30-was well impressed! Just be cautious of the white sauce....ours tasted like warm vanilla ice-cream!

Service, OK, Tapas disticntly average. Try Dimitris!

Went to Trafford Centre Pesto, Fantastic food, Fantastic value and will go back time and time again Champagne chilled to perfection! Keep up the good work Pesto

Went Pesto as a last minute thing, was reasonable prices and food was above average. Staff were friendly and helpful (even thou there was only 2 waitresses on). Didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out and it all came at the same time - BONUS. Will most defo go back and to anybody else who hasn't been - GIVE it a try, l don't think you will disappointed - try one of there pizzas, its the funniest thing I've seen as there that small and had an egg in the middle but did taste good, so not complaining....

02/07/07 This is a breath of fresh air .. great relaxed service yet attentive .. fresh fast food, yet didn't like the sausage thing with beans but that's my preference .I have been a few times now once in a large group through work going of the party menu which was surprisingly good and mainly with my girlfriend who love's it there more than me .Its a bit to warm inside but hey Peroni on tap ! keep it up pesto ..............

Had my birthday party at Pesto last night, and having read some of these not-so-great reviews I was a little apprehensive. However I could not fault the restaurant in any way, from communications before the event, to service on the night, value for money and excellent well-presented, well-cooked food. We had the Festa Menu which at £12.95 was fantastic value for money and included a good variety of different dishes, brought out in 3 stages. There was so much food! They had no trouble catering for 30 people and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you are after the best Italian food in Manchester then go to an authentic Italian Trattoria, but Pesto is definitely worth a visit for good food at a good price, and especially for large groups this place is perfect!

I was extremely disappointed the first time I ate at Pesto, not long after it had opened. The service was very slow but I was inclined to give it another chance. I shouldn't have bothered. The waiter was sullen and rude, we were sat at a table that was so dark we couldn't read the menu and I ended up going over to the bar so that I see it. Everything was slapped down in front of us and needless to say, the waiter didn't get a tip and nor would I ever venture inside the place again. They need to get their act together as there are a lot better and more superior restaurants out there.

Id love to find out where you buy your micro meals from? Its amazing, my fav are the pan fried prawns in white wine, because you can always micro prawns and make them taste great! I recommend it to all.

I took my 15year old niece into Pesto prior to a concert at MEN Arena on 11.5.07.

We had a excellent meal, everything we chose was cooked to perfection, very hot, and the service was excellent. I would not hesitate to go there again and would certainly recommend it to others.

Went to Pesto mid-afternoon and loved it! Excellent service and superb food, especially the 5 inch pizzas for under £3 - beautiful crisp bases! We had 5 dishes, soft drinks and espresso for £22. We'll definitely go again.

I was in Manchester a couple of weekends ago and after reading the good reviews on here decided to try it. We were not disappointed - they squeezed us in even though we hadn't booked - the service was great and the food really good - exceptional value for money !

A group of 5 of us were in Manchester over the weekend March 17th. We spotted Pesto while walking by and decided to see if we could get a table. Basically, this place is fantastic, excellent food, great service and all round tremendous value. The total bill for 5 of us including some drinks, a bottle of wine and a tip came to £140! We a few different dishes each and we were all well fed. Bravo Pesto

I cant see how people can complain about the food, considering nothing on the menu is more than a few quid its very good value for money. The atmosphere has always been fantastic when I've been. The only downside is every time I've been the service has been appalling - surly waitresses, orders not arriving etc...
