Boddingtons Brewery review

The former home to the Boddingtons Brewery, which ceased production in 2004. The building has been purchased by two Manchester property developers, and after a refit in 2006 the venue hosted events for the Warehouse Project. The Manchester Warehouse Project ran until January 2007, with a whole host of DJs and events taking place. The raucous opening party saw Public Enemy play to a packed crowd, and since then the likes of John Digweed, Q-bert, 2 Manyjs, Soulwax, A Guy Called Gerald, Roger Sanchez and Roni Size played. The venue is now closed, and the Boddingtons Brewery is expected to be go the same way as the Hacienda building (and everything else historic in Manchester) and be replaced by apartments.
