This huge gay club is located at the end of the Gay Village on Minshull Street. Spread out over three floors, it's the destination of choice (en-masse) with a music policy that ranges between cheesy pop (usually upstairs) and harder edged dance music. It didn't take long for Essential to be the queen of the Village, but it's managed to say there for quite a while. The recent opening of Queer, in the former Slug & Lettuce building opposite Essential, has made this area of Manchester even more popular.Why not add your own review?
