Moho Live is a multi-purpose venue on Oldham Street (Northern Quarter) and it's going to bring two five hundred capacity venues to Manchester. The city desperately needs new independent clubspaces, and Moho live seems to be shaping up (albeit slowly) the right way.El Diablos Social Club put on a month on the first Saturday of the month, with a choice selection of local acts spread out over the week and weekend.
Moho Live is looking to book live bands, and to act as a performance space for the artists of the Northern Quarter. The venue has a later license than most within that area - till 3am on Weekdays and Sunday, and till 4am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Anonymous says...I loved the last Brenda nite. It was fantastic and I much preferred it to the Mint Lounge. It wasn't the same music, was full, and loved the live music! If you don't like it - don't come? Will be attending from now on! Cheers Brenda

I went to Brenda and loved it. Also beeen to Mint Lounge loads and love it.
This review just looks like sour grapes.
Why don't you just enjoy all that Manchester club scene has to offer and stop whining!

Anonymous says...Amazing...A total breath of fresh air. It was rammed but the way the venue is laid out means you get served without having to wait for ages...the bouncers are very friendly and overall the place has a ramshackled , unpretentious , friendly air about it. The alcohol is cheap too ?1.30 for a beer on a Saturday . Best thing to happen to the Northern Qtr in ages. Def 10/10

With Acts like The Enemy, Ocean Colur Scene, Reverand and the Makers and the Futureheads, I'd say it was in a league of it's own.
Moho caters for everyone, with Drum and Bass nights, Metal nights, Live bands, Big names and the weekly student Propaganda night... It surely is a class act
