Phoenix review
The Phoenix, unlike it's namesake off from Phoenix Nights, is an underground gritty club that exists in the University Precinct centre. The club's above an 'It's a scream' pub, with a side entrance that can be easily overlooked.In the front doors and up a flight of stairs and you're in the main room. It's a bit pokey, but the venue usually plays host to underground or leftfield events - up until a year ago the Phoenix was the home of Tangled, one of the longest running club nights in Manchester.
